Tempore Lux has created a unique line of timepieces that are inspired by a classic design with a modern twist using modern watchmaking techniques, bringing you the best of both worlds in terms of style and functionality.
Tempore Lux Vintage One series, a line that incorporates high-quality watch designs that take inspiration from similar watches of the 1960s and 1970s.
The first watch out of the Tempore Lux brand is the Vintage One, a selection of robust, quality diver watches that are meant to be as strong as they are stylish and functional. The diver watches are waterproof up to 300 meters, or 1,000 feet in depth, making them perfect for serious divers. The cases are made from high-quality, 316L stainless steel and the large size of 44 millimeters makes it easy to read the time. But does not feel large on the wrist due to the design of the lugs
The slim design of the unidirectional ceramic bezel adds to its style and supports the sapphire crystal, which is resistant to scratches, and other such damage. Thanks to the anti-reflective coating, the sun won’t affect the reading of the dial and with the Supernova BGW9 filled hands, bezel and hour markers, the Vintage One is very simple to read in low-light settings.
The watch arrived with a Shark Mesh Bracelet Signed with both the Name and Logo on the clasp and a Quick Release Brown Matt Italian Leather Strap with Black Stitching signed on the buckle, both are very comfy and easy to wear, I prefer Bracelets but found the Strap suited the watch well,
At first I thought the size may be a problem but within minutes of wearing the watch I fell in love with the shape, the square case and lug design ment it fitted my 7.5 ”wrist well and the angles give the case both a modern but retro feel, out of the box the watch kept a reasonable + 5s a day and has now settled down to a + 2.2sa day which is excellent for the Seiko Movement, the Dial was the White version with Black and Lume Numbers, the 12, 6 & 9 being larger than the others and a date window instead of the 3, a Simple TL Logo and the name in the top half and Automatic 300 Meters in the lower half, the TL logo is also on the crown, the Case back is secured by six screws and carries the TL Logo, Tempore Lux Name, Serial Number, Material Types, Movement Type and Water Resistance rating
The Vintage One comes in 3 case colors Stainless, PVD Gold and Black, with Black, Blue or White Dials so is very customizable. There is a Signed Rubber Strap available
The Vintage One Chronograph offers two sub spheres on the dial of the watch, giving it a true vintage flair
They are also just Launching the Racing One Chronograph which will continue the unique design but this time replacing the diver’s bezel with a Tachymetre ring and Squarer Sub Dials plus a range of different colored dials https://temporelux.com/en/introduce-the-racing-one-chronograph/
